Learning is Fun
West Cheshire College
West Cheshire College and the Waterways Trust led a project to engage local residents in learning based around the National Waterways Museum. 433 learners took part in a wide variety of learning activities. Master craftspeople led courses in heritage skills such as spider web embroidery and crochet; volunteers at the museum accessed training in mentoring skills and substance misuse awareness; ICT students were engaged to help with the delivery of digital aspects of the programme, such as recording oral histories from local residents.
