The project engaged local authority housing residents in learning about their borough, in order to understand and make better use of resources. Learners explored the culture and history of their local area, and became familiar with local services including libraries, museums and galleries, advice centres and leisure facilities. This was achieved via guided coach trips.  In addition, the project offered fitness taster sessions to residents in their own sheltered housing spaces, to promote health and wellbeing.
