The project offered training in radio production and broadcasting, using a brand new studio at the community radio station. Learners produced and presented their own programmes. The aim was to increase public access to the community radio station and to enable learners to develop new skills. Learners included people with substance abuse problems, unemployed people and older learners. The funds enabled the radio station to put into place an infrastructure to deliver the project by employing a training manager, office manager and project manager.
