Photography: Capturing The Image
St Pauls Learning and Family Centre
St Pauls Learning and Family Centre delivered a series of ten workshops in five alternative photographic processes - cyanotype; salt-printing; albumen printing; gum-bichromate; and pinhole photography. Learners included older learners, students in FE and HE and people with mental health issues. The workshops gave an insight into the history of photography and involved hands-on practical work. Learners then went on to use the techniques to capture images of people and places within Bristol. The workshops culminated in an exhibition of learners’ images.
