‘Sine FM Community Radio’ was a broadcasting project delivered by Higher Rhythm Ltd and Reel to Reel. The project developed a series of flexible taster sessions as a gateway to learning about creative industries, with the intention of supporting progression. Learning resources were developed in the form of broadcasts, podcasts and video streaming, supporting further peer-to-peer learning. The project engaged both unemployed individuals and people on low incomes, including black and minority ethnic groups, in order to enhance opportunity and combat social isolation. Some participants went on to deliver their own regular community radio broadcasts.
