Take a peak at Dove Stone aimed to develop a programme of informal adult learning activities at countryside sites including Dove Stone reservoir in consultation with community groups. This was a partnership project with United Utilities leasing the site to the RSPB and funding vital conservation work and Oldham Council providing additional sites for informal learning. This project aimed to identify community groups in Oldham, engage them in informal learning activities that can be carried out at Dove Stone. Key target groups were BME groups, disabled groups, and low income groups.
