This Oxfordshire based project, led by Reconnect CIC in partnership with Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust, focused on learning to enable better management of stress. Families with young children, including women from Syria, Iraq and Palestine with some language needs, were engaged via the local children’s centre in a series of taster events and online learning activities that aimed to increase emotional wellbeing. Learners improved their understanding of their own and other people’s emotional states and developed practical methods of managing stress. Signposting to further support and learning opportunities was also available.
