The project engaged diverse groups of learners through the delivery of informal learning activities centred on the arts and local culture and history. Local volunteers were recruited to help devise and deliver activities, sit on a Steering Committee, and trained to fundraise. Additional volunteers were trained as befrienders. The project offered sessions in Creative Computing (learning to use Photoshop), Music (predominately learning guitar), Creative Writing, Drama, Drawing & Printmaking, Digital SLR Photography, Creative Knitting & Crochet and Painting. This culminated in a celebration event to exhibit and showcase all that members had achieved over the life of the project.
