Pass the Source used Open Source software, social networking and file sharing facilities to deliver a project celebrating life in Ilkeston. Participants collaborated with artists to build skills in a range of digital art forms, edit and share the results online. Participants were recruited on a rolling basis and took part in as many sessions as they wished. Sessions were group and participant driven with artists offering support in sound, music and visual digital arts. The project also created a Ning social network site for the group allowing group members to upload media onto it.
