The project enabled the delivery of a 20 week family focused parenting programme, with one to one mentoring and support, to four socially excluded young parents (19 – 25) with additional support needs living in supported housing. The course was delivered to learners in their homes - the supported housing setting. This course integrated literacy, language and numeracy using embedded learning, and also covered health and safety issues. An onsite crèche facility was provided to enable parents to take part.
