This project recruited and volunteers and trained them as sighted guides. The sighted guides then worked with nine visually impaired learners supporting them on short courses in sensory environmental awareness. These were delivered in local country parks. Most of the learners were older learners. The aim was to enhance learners’ experiences of the outdoors, and their health and wellbeing.
