Hothouse: Inspiring a love of creative learning –a programme of Adult and Family learning courses for Hackney Homes and Housing Association residents in Botanical Art; Silk Screen Printing; Kinetic Mobiles. The project enabled residents to apply their creative learning to influence neighbourhood change. It provided: an innovative learning model where young people took a workshop facilitation role teaching adult learners; two silk screen courses led by young people aged 16-25; specialist seminars to specific ‘estate based communities’; signposting activities to Learning Trust / Ways into Work and a showcase presentation.
