This education for sustainable development project offered practical activities for adults to learn about designing and building an allotment, sensory garden or garden structure; growing plants; local wildlife; and the natural environment. Learners also had opportunities to engage in confidence building activities and sessions on digital photography. The project transformed an underutilized outdoor space, local authority land, into a new teaching garden to enable the continuation of horticulture based learning.
