This cross-community project engaged hard-to-reach adults in group singing activities. 69 learners took part in 45 group, individual and competitive singing sessions, culminating in a Big Sing performance before an audience of over 300 local residents. New spaces were opened up to learning including children’s centres and pubs, which were used to host a karaoke competition. Residents of all ages and genders were drawn in by the communal aspect of this project.
