Get Creative in Popley provided opportunities for older learners in Popley to take part in a programme of creative arts and technology activities, including textiles, drawing and painting, flower arranging, multimedia technology, ICT, music and song. It brought together young adults and children and older people in intergenerational learning projects, allowing them to share knowledge and skills with one another. The project also targeted older people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities. There was a strong focus on learning to reduce stress and anxiety and increase health and wellbeing and self esteem.
