The Horti’cultural’ Festival provided opportunities for adults to explore the cultural side of horticulture. Eighteen festival events were delivered. These included a variety of talks, demonstrations and hands on activities including art, garden design, flower arranging and poetry. A strong objective of the project was to encourage adults to take up further informal or formal learning activities, following involvement in the project, and colleges attended the learning events to promote their learning offer.
