This project worked in a large housing estate with high deprivation statistics, to engage older learners living in and around the estate in arts and crafts, music and singing, and painting activities. These were offered via drop-in ‘taster’ sessions and also regular learning sessions, all delivered in a range of venues across the estate. 105 learners aged 50 and older took part. In addition, good relationships were developed between organisations across the estate, as a result of the project.
