Computer Learning (UK) Ltd led a project to engage offenders in informal adult learning focused on life skills and employability. 20 learners took part in gardening activities to create 10 accessible vegetable beds and a polytunnel in the grounds of Peterborough Bail Hostel. The participants developed horticultural skills that improved their employability in the local economy. Some learners have gone on to further learning or voluntary placements and the hostel has committed to continuing the work of the project, with further gardens in development.
