Community Researchers on gender and inclusion is an informal learning project where local people were trained in participatory research. Participants carried out a gender audit in their areas and, by 'learning by doing', they have increased their confidence, communication and listening skills, interest in working with different groups of people, ability to work as a team, and understanding of gender and inclusion issues.
