Just Housing (UK) Ltd led a consortium of organisations in delivering informal adult learning designed to promote community cohesion and emotional wellbeing among the residents of three social housing communities in Derby and Nottingham. Residents formed learning groups to identify, share and tackle community issues as part of an ongoing process of empowerment. The group-working method led to friendships and mentoring partnerships being formed between disparate individuals, as well as a series of successful community social events being run.
