UP FOR ARTS-A TEAM' -- social action radio project aimed at increasing engagement in informal learning using active participation in the arts as the lever for transformation.  Based within BBC Radio Merseyside the project included on-air programming, a project helpline and a wide network of outside broadcast events. Other activities included wood turning, pottery, dance, knitting, singing, drawing, new digital technologies, outreach activities, volunteers, cultural ambassadors, Shakespeare, an exchange visit, a high profile conference, numerous capacity building workshops, taster arts and craft events, a community reporters’ programme, a first aid course, a digital storytelling project with Liverpool John Moores University.
